Meet Lucy Kovalova-Woods
Lucy Kovalova-Woods is a management consultant, strategist, and executive leader with more than 20 years of international experience helping organizations grow, innovate, and improve performance.
Throughout her career, she has worked across multiple industries, leading initiatives in business strategy, operations, customer experience, marketing, digital transformation, organizational development, and business growth. She has built customer service operations from the ground up, led international teams supporting customers in more than 60 countries, developed growth strategies for startups and established organizations, and advised leaders navigating organizational change.
While her consulting experience spans many sectors, Lucy has developed particular expertise in healthcare, life sciences, telehealth, medical technology, assistive technology, and nonprofit organizations. She works with organizations seeking to improve patient engagement, stakeholder collaboration, accessibility, and inclusive innovation while maintaining strong operational performance.
Lucy is also deeply committed to creating social impact.
She is the Managing Director of WKG Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting people with visible, invisible, and dynamic disabilities through career transition resources, education, mentorship, and advocacy.
As a recognized patient partner in health research and clinical trials, Lucy serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Arthritis Patient Alliance (CAPA) and collaborates with the International Alliance of Patient Organizations (IAPO), researchers, healthcare organizations, and industry partners to advance meaningful patient engagement and patient-centered healthcare.
Her work bridges strategy with lived experience, helping organizations design services, products, and systems that better reflect the needs of the people they serve.
Lucy is also a published author, international speaker, educator, and workshop facilitator on topics including strategic planning, organizational development, patient engagement, disability inclusion, healthcare innovation, entrepreneurship, and career development.
